what ply are the stock 300ex/250x tires? Are 2ply a waste of money? I do trail riding and the stock tires do need to be plugged every once in a while but nothing I can't handle. I found a good deal on some 2ply replacements. Any thoughts?
I'd go with 4 ply,,,,2 ply is for toilet paper not ATV tires..:D

I know 4ply is the way to go, but i'm on a budget. What if I can get a set of 20x10x9 kenda scorpions on stock rims for $100 or less shipped to my door? They are only 2ply tires but i'm saving a lot of cash that I could use to buy lots of plugs.

2 ply tires are as usless as nipples on a guy! They are cheaper to buy upfront but you will save money on the long run, trust me!
My stockers still had about 90% threads left and were full of patches and plugs... but I do alot of gravel pits and trail riding.
I'd save up and get the 4 plys, the 6 ply are too stiff and weigh quite a bit more.
just my .02 (what does that mean anyway?)
