I am selling a 1984 Honda Z50R. this bike has been an ongoing project for most of this year, and i have no choice but to sell it. it ABSOLUTELY HAS TO BE GONE by 8/6/04. i need money to pay for my car, so it has to go.
it has many new parts, both OEM and aftermarket, which include:
-New motor- no more than 5 hours of use. i have been changing the oil every 90 min to 2 hours of use. i have been running 10w40 Honda GN4 oil. Has been ran for most of this time on Mobil 93 octane (premium). Starts on first kick every time. For stock bore, the bike is relatively peppy, and is an absolute blast to ride.
- UNI Air Filter
- BBR Adult Aftermarket Handlebars
- XR50 carb
- XR50 CDI- never have to worry about the aging points system going bad again
- XR50 wiring harness
- Recently Sanded and Repainted gas tank. The previous owner repainted it black, i restored it back to original condition with a Honda Red color. the inside of the tank was also cremed to keep the tank from leaking and so on, which is a common problem with old, rusted Z50 gas tanks.
- NEW exhaust. 5 mins of use on it.
- XR50 intake manifold
- New Honda Risers
- Various New Genuine Honda bolts, including Triple Clamp Bolts, and all 8 Wheel Bolts
- custom black and blue seat
- Brake drums recently cleaned on the inside, and also adjusted as of 7/18/2004. both front and back work great.
- Suspension is stock, but still works great. Dont kid yourself, the dual springs are very very good.
