ok guys im not racin but i want to make my kfx400 less tipsy and i cant afford aftermarket a arms or shocks, some people tell me to put a lowering kit but then some tell me when you hit a jump if the bike botoms out and the brake caliper hits the can,
then some people tell me to put spacers and then other tell me jumping or just rough riding will will bend my spindles
so can u guys help me and give me ur opinions of what to do?

wheel spacers wont bend the spindles it will bend the tie rods, and spacers on the rear will bend the axle, the only way to go is to get a-arms, or or or you can get some offset wheels, that will widen you decent, i think you can widen your bike up to 2" with offset wheels

your best bet is to save up for a good set of ssd/zps style shocks, you dont need a-arms or axles, a good set of ssd shocks will lower the quad a good inch and a half, and that will make all the difference in the world

a cheap way to help your problem is to get a used set of 400ex front shocks it will lower your front end 2 inches and make it 3 inches wider my son did it and he likes it

I keep hearing this rumor that 450r shocks on the front will help lower also. is this true?
