I was dabating what section to put pics in since this is a four state series, but Ill post it here for now since I didnt have a ton of pics to post for this race...........
This was a two day event but we only went for Sun. race. I got a chance to thank the founder of the event and thank her for allowing all us quads in this series......... I have to say for the first time in a long time we FINALLY have some people that really have no quarms with us quad riders and welcomed us to join the rest of the series!!! So hats off the them!!!
It was a very long day of close to 13 hours.:eek2: There were so many entries on Sat. they had to start the event alot earlier on Sun. Im happy to say no one was seriously injured and only one ambulance had to come out on Sun. but was not related to racing.......
This race took place at www.omcracing.com track . This track is a great track to ride it consists of dbl.s,triples, step ups, step down, roads jumps and more...........
due to so many entires you can only imagine how rough the track would get . Quads of course was placed last:rolleyes: so they didnt get a nice groomed track at all. Also, in the main we had a hard rain storm and it flooded a few spots on the track.....

Does anyone here know Mike Summerville? Is he still involved in ATV racing?

Mike was selling all his atv stuff. He is around but not riding much. What did you need? How is all the stuff they made for you holding up?

Since the a-arms are prototypes, one defect has reared it's head. The lower-right ball joint is at a slightly different angle than the left. This is keeping me from running 19" shocks on the beast. I did bend one of the lower arms in a nasty crash at Echeconne, the same race Mike was to fly down and race with me. Other than that the front stuff is working fine. Adam Campbell said it handled better than any Mojave, and allot of 400EX's he has tested. That made me feel good.

I did sell the swingarm. The way the rear shock mount was located on the swingarm, the PEP shock gave it two many inches of wheel trave in the wrong places. I have killed the supertrapp muffler because of it slamming into the axle on big jumps. It handled great other wise. Mojaveaddict is making me a new one as we speak and I am getting a full set of custom Elka shocks for the Mo. It's going to have more wheel travel (@14") but it will bottom out before the muffler hits the axle.

I hope Mike is doing good. It's a real shame that he's getting out of a sport that I know he loved so much. Thanks Seven.

Last I seen most of his quad was on ebay,I know he sold his motor and front shocks already. So unless he decides to by another quad I dont think he will be able to race.

Yuppers...Fri night it is!!!!:blah: Then were riding Clay Peak on Sat. I think he had a good time racing, BUT for the first time I dont think he thought my quad handled that great:( IF he had some good shocks that suited him and some AArms I think he would have TORE:macho . He kept telling me how rusty he has gotten too:o I have to admit, that was the first race IVe seen him on the MX that wasnt one of his better races I could tell it just wasnt soaking up the jumps...:( But it was COOL to see him get the Holeshot on it!!!!:blah:  Im glad he got to race, I oculd tell he was bummin about it..;)
