300ex FMF on 400ex?

Would my 300ex's FMF silencer work on a 400ex? Work, not work, or work like sh*t?

It will not work. #1 because the 400ex having dual head pipes, while the 300ex only has one. Also the way they are wont match.

I realized the pipe wouldnt work but im talking about just the silencer.

Like oriclez said the headpipe won't work for obivous reasons, but the silencer won't work either. The headpipe is actually the same (or very close) diameter as the 300ex silencer. First thing I tried was to mount my HMF from the 300 to my new 400.
