will a 400ex rear shock with a remote rezzie work on a 250r?

probably not. even if it did bolt up the 250r has a swingarm thats like an 1.25 inches longer than a 400ex so the valving would be off.

You would also be taking a step back. The 400ex shock is much better than the 250R shock.
If the 400ex shock is better and that is what he is wanting to put on his 250R why would that be a step back? and since he is talking about remote resi. I assume that it is aftermarket. so it wouldn't be a step back. but as far as it working I don't know!

im almost ceirtain it will bolt up but then its all down to the valving... if u have it laying around u may aswell try it out. Nothing to loose..

I thought he wanted to put a 250R shock on his 400.

i was wondering the same thing, but i believe it was K&K that told me it would not fit, i was going to buy a rear shock from a 250r but now im not going to.

I was wanting to put a tcs rear shock for a 400 on my but it has sold already . thanks anyway
