I am looking for a way to raise mmy bars up an inch or more but it looks like my cables are not long enough??? Do you have to get new cables also? Thanks

I have a rox 2 inch pivot riser and Pro Taper CR High bend bars with the stock cables....just fits though. I say go with the Rox riser. Looks very nice and is good quality.

if your switching over to 1 1/8 bars rmatv sells tusk big bar clamps that bolt to the stock stem.gives about 3/4 of an inch of rise, and they are pretty cheap.i've used them with cr double high tag bars and no problems with the cables.

Ill agree with Josh ... his ROX riser looks sick and gives a nice ride height with the extra 2inches and the CR high bends if you're a short guy ... like 5' 8" . Josh you gotta chnage your user name so I know who the heck you are . LOL . Went out to the Hanmer track , we gotta go hit it up sometime .

i put an extended ster stem from roll des, a gpr 2 and cr high.
all in all raised 1 1/2 inch. i had to disconnect the brake cable mount at the stem just were the rubber hose and the steel line starts and gently straighten the steel line '' gently''! i can turn h/b all the way left and right no prob but is tight. might have to pull all slack out of all other lines but can be done. oh ya, after straightening front brake line take a good zip tie and secure line to the frame were the mount is for the brake line.

I just went over and got a set of stock clamps and longer bolts. It raises the bars almost an inch and makes a HUGE difference in the corners. I'm 6'5" and this mod takes the YFZ from cramped to perfect. Amazing what a little lift like this does, for $40.

Sounds exactly what I would want to do. But I am not sure what you are talking about. Do you have a pic? I feel stupid, but not quite sure what you did.
