Rausch Creek MX facility in Tremont, PA is the host of the 3rd Round of the 6 Hours of ATV America. The weather is picture perfect for JULY. Temps are in the low 80's with partly cloudy skies with a nice breeze. It is suppose to cool off into the 60s tonight, which will be great.

The turnout is looking awesome with over 30 teams registered so far, and some big names have showed up.

EXriders.com will be posting updates throughout the evening event.

team treebash a class. me lee dickerson, warren draper, and todd rothermel. we started good running in 4th. but on the 9 th lap we stripped out brand new lonestar hubs. we lost 3 laps fixing that and then we broke a stock hub. we lost 3 more laps with that. and we finished the last 10 laps with 2 ply 18 inch holeshot mx tires they worked better than i thought the only part that sucked was the little mud hole toward the end of the track with the little tires, you had to be careful not to get stuck. it was alot of fun. we had a very good team.we just need to be a little more organized. and we learned not to use lonestar hubs. but tha just shows that alot can happen in 6 hours.you can go from good to bad back to good and right back to bad. lol but it was one of the coolest races i have ever done.if you have not tried a team race you should. it s a blast.

Team Bluetraxx is me, Paul Niemiec, and Jason Bergey.
We were running 3rd in B class in the beginning of the race, then we ran into a few problems with flat tires, steering stem came loose, wrecks, ect. Then we dropped back becuase of the steering stem problem, and it got dark, our one light was broke because of a wreck so we were left with one stock headlight all race. We also kinked both a-arms badly in wrecks, which made the steering horrible. We finished 10 in B class and i think 28th overall. We'll do better next year, not to bad for a bunch of Mx'ers.:macho

team cannondaleriders was doug flinner(haydug cycles), rick cecco, and kenny campbell. they were flying!

3 ring circus was brian campbell, zack thomas, and myself. we made the team thursday night at 11pm and didn't know what we were riding till around 2pm on race day. we rode brian's stock 400ex and the only problems we had was running out of gas after 2.5 hours and battling a flat right rear the last 2 hours. we changed nothing, tried to stay out of everyones way, and had a blast. treebasher is right, these type of races are about as fun as they get.

thanks to the track worker at rausch with the 426(?) yellow ex for the gallon of gas!!

Team POWERLINE (pro class)

me Jason Hughes, Dan Ketterer, and Mark Carman..

I rubbed some holeshot lotion on the engine just before the start.
Dan got out in frt. with a great holeshot form the 6th start box!!!!!

Smiley and Wimmer got by just before the woods. A mile or so in the CDI box plug got loose and the bike quit........

He fixed it and got going in dead last overall!!!!!

First lap we were last overall, then Dan hammered out 5 fast laps and got us up near the top ten overall!!! I got on and ran 7 laps (i got the fast lap on out team) this put us up in 8th in PRO and aroun 15th overall. I passed off to mark, he ran 1 lap then pitted cause we lost a bolt in the engine and oil was blowing out. we fixed it up and Dan went back out with a fire under him!!!!!!!!!

With 1.5 hours to go he came in and had us 24 seconds out of 4th place in Pro and in the top 10 overall (we were 24 seconds behind team Quadshop) we sent Mark out for 2 laps then I was gonna finish the thing.....well he took till 10:55 to get back and he was pushing the quad!   . We bump started it and it ran fine. The Ref said there was time for one more lap so i got my helmet and did one last lap which started at about 10:59.9. The scary part was I new if I stalled it I would be in trouble, but I was so tweaked I was pinning it everywhere and pounding through the trees.... it was only a matter of time before i got the thing going fast enough to out run the lights and i went over the bars real hard..... got it runnin again and finished the race!
We had a blast, it was frustrating though waiting for the bike to come by. And hearing from another racer that he saw our bike in the woods!!

Team Cannondaleriders blew a head gasket about half way through the race. It was my quad they where riding and I didn't have a radiator guard or powerwasher and the radiator was completely clogged after the first couple laps.

The guys where running awesome until the breakdown and Rick even set a new track record for +30.

We'll be ready for the next one.

it would be great, however most race promotors dont give out print outs after the race....some do..some dont, so getting the top 3 is usually as good as it gets until a day or two later.

the gncc site has gotton a TON better in the last 2 months with results posted within 24 hours of the event.
