What if I keep the stock bore and just add a High Compression piston would that give me a noticeable power increase?

I'm sure it would be a big difference, maybe someone who has a stock bore,hi-compression can answer that for you, as for me going from stock bore and compression to 416 11:1 what a major difference from stock, it is like a whole new motor:devil:

It does not matter if you have a 400,416,426,440 or whatever, what does matter is what compression you are running, I run a 11:1, thru experimenting and doing plug checks ,mine runs best on 60/40 of 110/93 octane.........some people say you can "get by" running 93 with 11:1 compression, I don't. pre-detonation will kill a motor quick by letting this happen, or by running a lower octane to get by, I believe you can be safe running a 10:1 or so with pump gas,it depends on what you want, but do not go over 11:1 with the stock rod, you'll be asking for trouble.better to be safe than sorry:D
