has anyone had major problems with 12.5:1 compression on a 440 kit for a 400?

no other than that fact u have to run race gas i running the same compression i just run striaght VP 110 gas

Make sure you have a stronger rod, race gas, and let it cool down every now and then... 440's heat up pretty quick.

Running that compression, you obviously need race gas. You also really should be running a heavy duty rod in there with that compression like the Carillo or Curtis Sparks rod.

heavier head studs will be needed probably.
