the blaster i just bought a fixer upper wont start AGAIN, well i ust replaced the ignition coil(today) maybe i put the spark plug boot on the wire wrong? the stator coil has been replaced(2 weeks ago) and STILL im getting no spark whtat is the deal here? and slo how can i be sure that im getting gas to the cylind

dont worry about getting gas into it until you get spark...If you doubt yourself putting the wire on the spark plug boot, then this would be a logical start...dont you think?


BTW, this would be better suited in the "Powertrain" forum...

i re did the igniton perfect and mxrider666 i have some words for you MY RACE READY BLASTER WOULD DESTROY YOUR 250EX

Im not sure how much this happens but my friends blaster wouldnt start and he was checking some stuff out and his reed was ripped completely inhalf...just something to check

it doesnt matter if he had a race ready blaster or a stock blaster...stock for stock a blaster could beat a 250ex...and once you put a lot of mods into any quad they are going to get less reliable

Check to make sure all your wires to the handlebars are okay also. One the lake this past winter the wire to my stock kill switch snapped from being so cold and it wouldn't start, all I had to do was disconnect that wire and it started right up. Just make sure to check all your wiring to make sure everything is in tact. I had even replaced my coils thinking it was that.

you've gotta be kidding me, port and polish, 30mm carb, duncan pipe and sil. aktive reeds, k and n, 2mm crank, stock for stock a blaster takes a 250ex:rolleyes:

wasnt the topic to help him get his blaster started:eek2: who cares bout whos will beat it in a race? help the guy out maybe youll need a question answered some day, i would but i dont know a thing about 2 strokes.:macho ed

do you mean that it will beat me in a race now, when it won't start, or in a couple of months when it wont start?

Anyways, back on topic, just buy a manual, it has the whole wiring diagram in it, just check/test everything until you find the problem.:D

i have 3 quads ***, my race ready blaster, the blaster that wont start and a race ready 300ex go ride your 250ex
