View Full Version : looking into rear shock rebuild... who does it? what are prices? who does best work?

ok so im looking into have my stock rear shock rebuilt to be a zero preload. i have elkas up front and im wondering if i should have elka do it to match the fronts or if it wouldnt matter have some shop do it? any help would be appricitated thanks.

Quadshop will do it..not sure on the price..

Quadshop, Baldwin, Derisi, K+K, they all do it. I dont know rates on the others, but Baldwin is 85 bones for service on the rear or 160 for revalve plus 89 if you need a spring too. Get ahold of him if you want and PM me if you need his number...

You will want to get the Elka conversion for sure to match the fronts.

I usually puch for DeRisi revalve on rear shocks, BUT since you have ELKAa up front already you will want to go with an ELKA rebuild to match that. The Quadshop would be a great place to have it done!

I overlooked the fact that you had Elka fronts. Youll want to get them done by the Quadshop for sure. PM or call Jeff about it.

Just sent my rear shock off the the Quadshop yesterday!!! I can't wait to get it back and try it out!! Hurry Jeff, I'm getting anxious!! J/P :D :D :D
