new slip on gives 450 40% more hp!!!!

guys two brothers c-7 slip on pipe claims 40% more hp than stock!!!!!!!
thats about 16 hp with just a slip on
also 31% for the z400, 29% for the yfz
holy chit it only costs 450.00
anyone else see this or hear of it???????

I believe most of the time they can **** with other stuff before they test it, say, it makes 40 hp stock, they can **** the jetting up so it might only register about 30 hp, then they stick their pipe, airfilter and rejet it to perfect, and it makes 46 hp. Then in their add, it can say "ADD 16 HP WITH ONLY A PIPE, AIRFILTER, AND REJETTING YOUR QUAD" when in fact your only getting 6. Jus tmy take on things.

yea you guys ever see the LRD ad? it says it adds 24hp to a raptor :rolleyes: when companies do that and lie it makes me not buy from them

it was 25hp. and that was with a 700cc bore kit. I can believe a 25hp gain with bore, exhaust etc.

From off-road.com - The new LRD Raptor kit includes a 102mm bore, a LRD designed 12:1 forged JE high compression piston kit, new cam timing with LRD's own grind camshaft built for LRD by Web Cam, stiffer valve spring to prevent high RPM valve float, and a flywheel mod. To further improve breathing, LRD custom ports the cylinder head and performs a multi angle valve seat grind to take full advantage of all possible performance gains. LRD also grinds the valves to insure the seat is concentric for a perfect valve seat. The result is a harder pulling engine from low RPM with a much-improved midrange and top-end.
