hand guards

i was wondering if any guys use hand guards while mxing i know you never see it but once i saw an mxguy use them and i thought it looked neat. just wondering if any one else uses them

Personal preference. I don't use them, but if I ever get hit in the knuckle with a rock, I might change my mind. I like the way some of them look (acerbis). Some look just plain stupid though. They all do the job.

Actually the Acerbis ones are the least preferred by most racers. They have really tight clearance around your hands and dont leave much space for pulling the levers. Thats how they were on my old CR125 dirtbike years ago, but I dont know if they changed the design of not since then. Im not running handguards right now, but might possibly look into getting a pair of the Powermadd ones. They look like the best to me, and alot of people are happy with them...

Yeah, I just saw a set of those Powermadds and they look pretty nice.

i use them for moto cross. i dont feel like getting a rock to my hand during a moto. where in nj are you?

I have a set of Powermadd handguards red ones on my blue and red ex and they look good and do the job well.

I have the red and gray powermadd hand guards on my yellow and red 400. I really like them and the removable piece for the vents is a nice feature.
