what do you guys put on your grips to keep them on? ive tried grip glue, hairspray, paint, contact cement and they wont stay on.what should i try? :confused:

i got a thing of renthal grip glue that works good you should try maybe alot of crazey glue

I usually poor some gas into the grips...put them on and let them sit for a good hour..or hairspray..i dont use grip glue cuz its a b*itch if u ever have to take em off.

well...i always used chicken grease..that works good. :devil:


nah...you sure you let that stuff dry? cuz i put some contact cement on mine and they are stuck on there lol...maybe try and clean the area before you do it too....that should help. :)

I wrap electrical tape around the handlebars where the grip goes, then I put grip glue on that and in the grip...let her dry overnight and your good to go!

Grip glue works good for me :confused: . When I take them off I have to cut them in half.

i try grip glue, the grips allways come loose and move, the only thing that works for me is to safety wire them on

Grip glue or safty wire, the safty wire works the best:)
