so what is everybody runnin in the 1/8 mile? on what kinda quad?

You wont get much response; most guys havent ever run. My old Drag 435ex ran low 8.10's in 660ft with 1.70 60ft time. All motor-no wheelie bar. Best of 8.14 at 78 mph with stock headpipe.

that looks good....the fastest ive been on my 450 is 950's, but i put an hmf and rejetted...hopefully lookin at 920's....there is a local guy here that is 610's on motor....580's on the spray..its crazy its a frame built just for draggin....he has wheelie though...i think it is a banshee motor.....something like a 7 thousand dollar motor

Alot of it is gearing and tires. Pump the fronts way up and run higher gearing. I was running 16/36 with those tires and it pulled hard. You want to be 'out of revs' near timing traps at 660. I never did win any cash but surprised a Piped Raptor with over 300ft win in 1/4 mile (1320 ft) :eek2:
