05 Honda 400ex to have reverse ?

Hi guys and gals ! I've been out of the atv loop for awhile, I used to own an 01 ex, and after an accident I left the sport for a bit, but anyways, I heard that the 05 400ex may have an acual reverse gear since its not the leading sports quad in hondas lineup anymore. I was just curious if anyone heard that this was confirmed, or not. Hondas site doesnt even have the 05's posted yet. Thanks in advance ! ;)

sorry, but i dont believe it,i dont see honda putting any time into the 400, people have been rumoring it since the raptor came out, ill believe it when i see it with me own eyes:eek2:

by the way, when is the 05 400ex gonna be released ? 05 ranchers are already out, and have been for little bit now. :confused:

im assuming that the 05 400ex will be coming out around late jan 05-feb 05 , does that sound about right. when in the year do the new model 400ex's usually get released ? :confused: :blah:

People should actually look around on the net for SOLID information before conforming to rumors. Here you go.

thanks for the confirmation there ! i appreciate that ! I had no clue when new 400ex's were released, I guessed it was around the new year, since that was about when the 450r came out, i put sport quad+sport quad together, lol ! :rolleyes: :D

I have no idea. I'm around Lake Cumberland, WolfCreek Dam (bout 8 miles from that) about 2 hours from lexington, about an hour from danville and an hour and 15 from frankfort. About 30 minutes from Somerset (pulaski county). Ummm My county is Russell County. Whats Knox near?

on the Honda web site the xr 400 isn't there for 05 so they might be updating them both.

sometimes in September after some dealers convention , there is a link posted in this thread that will give the exact info concerning this. :D
