Parting Out - clean 440ex

I have decided to part out a clean 2000 440ex that i picked up. I can get pictures of anything, and teardown will begin tomorrow. I can take paypal (muff400@comcast.net) or money orders. Shipping will be added to all parts.

-RPM antivibe steering stem, standard length, slightly bent back, red $100 (on ebay)

-Red plastic. Black hood, hellbound flame graphics, plastic is quite new $175

-Rear brake system. caliper, extended red galfer brake line, pedal, master cylinder, and ressivor. All works great $100 (on ebay)

-Spindles, straight and in good condition $60

-rear linkage, clean and in good shape $50

-rear locknut, stock, larger nut is chrome $10

-gas tank, comes with good working petcock. $40

-Laeger +3 chrome a-arms. ball joints show rust, but handle, look, and work great $400 (sold)

-Works ultracross rear. is on the softer side as well and seems to soak up quite a bit. has remote ressie. compression, rebound, and preload adjustable. $400 (sold)

-stock frame, no cracks, small chips of paint missing on the front end. comes with a title, never been welded/straightened $300 (sold)

-Seat, with graves seat cover, OMF seat latch. $100 (sold to pnut420)

-Acerbis handguards, black. $35(sold to infantry racing)

-TC slip on exhaust and stock header. runs and sounds good. $200 (sold)

-CT Aluminum airbox, holds the battery and electrical. $80 (sold to insanerain2003)

-K&N airfilter, with ourwear. Looks brand new $30 (sold to insanerain2003)

-Front brake system, extended galfer brake lines, calipers, and master cylinder. $125 (sold to redrider05)

-Durablue axle. straight, not bent. chromes in good condition $200 (sold to redrider05)

-Tag handlebars. straight, with new renthal grips $50 (sold)

-Burgard 8" beadlocks with kenda klaw tires. tires are in good shape, hold air, and beadlock rings are painted red and look good. $250 (sold)

-Walsh antivibe standard clamp. Has mounts for key switch and pro design kill switch. Anodized black. $75 (sold to *********400ex)

-AC propeg nerf bars $100 (sold)

-Ohlins front shocks with ressies. They are not compression adjustable, and seem a little on the softer side. $350 (sold)

-Keihn fcr41mm. clean, runs great, comes with vent tubes and gas line $350 (sold)

-Thottle assembly, with aftermarket polished cap $35 (sold)

-front hubs and brake rotors. clean and in good condition. $60 (sold)

-Pingry oversized oil tank, has the cooling holes. $100 (sold)

-Lonestar +1 1/4" swingarm. powdercoated red, no cracks. $350 (sold)

-CT440 motor. It has the IMS 440 kit, 11:1 compression. Barnett clutch kit, hinson clutch basket, hison quick change clutch cover, white bros cam, hardened rockers. Looks and runs great. After starting it only smokes a tiny bit for a few seconds, nothing major at all, new valve seals would fix the problem, but its barely any at all. $1200 (sold)

-rear brake rotor, stock, clean and straight. $30 (sold)

yea the clamps will go with them. They should be alright on stock a-arms, may be on the stiffer side, but will still bolt up and everything.

nerfs, scoops, bumper, and full body skid are already called for

I still have the plastics as well, you will have a PM shortly, and I dont believe the K&N is a proflow, its just the standard filter, but i will get a picture later and show you.

Update on the quad: spend a couple hours today and got practically everything taken off except the a-arms, motor, and swingarm. More pics will be coming shortly.

no man it was nice, just figured i could make a few bucks on it....we'll have to see how i turn out in the end.


crazy400ex that airbox, filter, and air scoops are all taken for. i do have another airbox, not sure of the brand but also holds, and comes with the battery, main wire harness, and all of the electrical usually found on the subframe. I will let that go for approx. $25 cheaper because it has a few small cracks from where it hit my chain (because my subframe is tweaked). Click the link below for pics.

i think im gonna buy that brake hub and disk but i need to buy a clutch cable, air box, and k&n filter. so it may be a while. i wouldnt hold it for me if i were you.

I have a K&N with an outerwear for $15 if you'd be interested in that at all. If your gettin a stock airbox pick up a new one, they are quite cheap. If you are looking for an aluminum one I have one of those. I'd ship all of that stuff to you for $125. The airbox comes with a battery and electrical.

yes I take paypal. I dont have a k&n filter anymore, but do have a UNI for $25, if you bought the motor I would throw it in. And I do take paypal, I know it would be a pain, but if someone bought the motor I would prefer them to send the payment with a money order, only because its easy for me to deposit a money order in teh bank, but i cant figure out how to get my money from paypal without having to buy something with paypal to reduced the credit :grr:

Wouls you take a stock 400ex with a new stock clutch with less than 1/2 hour on it+ $600, oil changed literally every 2 to 3 hours, does not smoke, I can send you video if you want.
