I was wondering what set up on the front end works best for mx on the 450r. I was wondering what arm offset to get. +3+1 or what. Thanks for you help.

in those magazines the try to impress people so they make it as wide as they can. of course it's not legal. they had a YFZ in dirtwheels that was like 55" wide and it had racing numbers on it. you can't always rely on what you see. i reality i'd go with this setup...

i have lonestar +2's. i wish they were 1 forward cause the front end is a little light but i got a deal on them through my sponsors. i use stock shocks and inset rims. i'm 49.5 at the front of the tire and 49.8 at the rear, i adjusted the chamber. my setup is great. the shocks are better used with the longer a-arms and it feels like a 250R's handling. i used to 2-wheel and bicycle through hairpin corners and let off on berms a little but i rail them wide open and slide right through the hairpins. i recommend getting the lonestar +2 a-arms.

by now those a-arms are used and scratched up. So i think its time for a new set. how much you want for your old ones? lol just kiddin. How does that setup work with stock shocks? Did you have them revalved? Who did them if you did?
