anyone have any ideas on parts and amount of money it would take to fix a 2002 Honda Recon ES that has lost its compression, and smokes like crazy. im looking to buy this, but unsure if it is worth it?

I would recomend calling your local dealer, or bike shop to see what it would cost to have it board out and the cost of over sized piston and rings and that should fix the problem. Every shop charges a differnt amount to bore one. You could also have it board and sleeved if you want to keep it stock.

may just need rings, but you wont be able to tell for sure until you take it apart.
