Buy a service manual, or find one one the net. There are a lot of people asking questions about some fairly simple or regular tasks that should be done to an ATV regularly. Buying a manual will help you out in so many ways, like Torque specs for how tight a bolt should be tightened, how to change your oil, how much oil should be used, how to clean the air filter, how to clean the chain, basicly and task you should be regularly doing to your ATV.
I bought a Clymers manual, it's really cheap considering, and it is fairly easy to follow and provides pretty much all the information you need. If you own the ATV and plan to do any maintenance yourself I definately suggest getting a manual.
