problem

I dont know if this is the right forum for this but just need some help...I was riding my 300ex today and me and my 2 friends stopped and just sat for a little bit and we were getting ready to ride some more and i went to start my 300 and it wouldnt start...we tried to coast start it that didnt work...we decided to tow it back but it wouldnt let me shift into neutral...im not the best with four wheelers so any help would be muchly appreciated!!

Is the battery dead? Possibly a bad ground. When the key is on and you have it in neutral does the neutral light come on?...does the 300 have a neutral light?:o

Yea it has the neutral light...but it wont let me shift into neutral...the shifter will just go up and down and wont shift any gears??

Do you have oil in it? also some of the 300ex's had tranny problems. My dads 300 lost 3rd gear, Iv'e heard of others locking in gear also. Good luck

Well i got it to work...it wouldnt start because of a wiring problem and i dont know why it wouldnt go into gear but after my friend messed with it...it did so im happy!
