sparks or HMF?

yeah, yeah! i know that this kinda thing has been asked and gone over but i am really just asking those who have either. which is better? what kinda power increases am i looking at all through the rpm's? what the sounds are like from both pipes? now i know that the sparks is pretty loud, but how does the full HMF exhaust compare in sound? is it just as loud or deeper or....what? really i am looking at the HMF full system more so because i can get the red canister with it. and i like it a lot for my R. well anyway, anyone who has some good info or whatever about this please fill free to comment and give opinion and whatever really. thanks, chris

Im getting the sparks. Solely based on that it claims to make i think 1/2 to 1.5 more horsepower. The HMF is a great choice also. The sparks is pretty loud but I am going for performance. The HMF has a deep grunt and you can get it in colors :D

I have never rode one with a HMF but i know the sparks is good cause my friend has one and it open the quad up very well, i must say it KICKS *****. but i dont think you can go wrong with either one they are both good pipes.

I have a full Sparks system on my 450R and it really woke up the motor as far as the bottom end and mid range power. The Sparks is loud but it sounds awesome! You'll will love the Sparks exhaust if you go that way. I also have a JE 11.5:1 piston and stage II HotCam....the Sparks system worked great with these mods!

I have a buddy that just put a HMF slip-on on his 400EX and it was a night/day difference over his Pro Circuit slip on. It runs really well for a stock 400 and looks great.

I dont think you will go wrong with either full system, I've heard great things from the HMF but I love my Sparks system. I personally like the red canister you can get with the HMF also.

I've got the HMF full system and it really opened it up alot with the HRC kit. It is too loud for my taste without the quite core. Looks good in black.

i also have a bill balance carbon.and yes im very happy with it.i considered a yosh tri oval carbon.it is as well a nice pipe.
