Needle???

This might sound dumb but...I can't find the needle! I opened the carb all the way up, and found where it's at, but can't get to it? if anyone could post a diagram, or anything like that, maybe pics of how to get to it, I would be really greatful. Thank yoU!

Open the top of the carb(goldish color part) and than push the throttle all the way in. You will see the needle come up;)

Yea the needle is hard to get at in the 400EX carb. There is a little arm that holds it, you will have to take that off to get at the carb.
