ok well I'm getting neft bars for my 400ex for my b day. i wanna get something cheap but will do the job. i was thinking some DG alloy neft bars but when i look at the pic of it, at the foot peg where it loops back it looks like a inch away from the tire so i don't know if my paddles will work with it. then i was looking at Dennis kirk and i was looking at the DG alloy nerfs and those didn't even have the part where it loops back? so i dunno whats going on there. does anyone have a set of these and do they come close to the tire?

what size paddles do you have? pretty much most paddles are smaller than the dimensions, well its hard to explain but, say ya buy 20x11x8 sandstars, ok to the tip of 1 paddle to the other paddle is 20" then the actuall round tire part is smaller, get it? i think you should b fine if ya have 20" paddles or 22" paddles

I like my ac's, but if you ride in water or mud, stay away from steel nerfs, they will rust :p

I have DG Alloy on my Banshee and they were a pain to install, plus they seem pretty close to the tires. I have AC Pro Peg on my 400 and those are awesome, I'd recommend those or anything like them to anyone.

i would definaely look into x-factor nerfs. their 170 from C&D. I used to have DG alloy series of my 250 and the center peice rusted and they bent very easily. These x-factor have a chromoly center tube that looks trick and very strong. I wont buy any other nerf from here on.

AC pro-peg with heel guards all the way! I know it sounds like I am saying this because I have them. I like them because they go all the way from the back fender to the front fender, the nets are tightly woven so you won't get your foot stuck, they went on easy. and they are aluminum so they don't rust and are about the same weight as the stock pegs. I know they retail for $290 but with a little research you can easily get them for $200 even.

I agree with you completely, except I don't have the heel guards and I don't really need them.

Where in Wisconsin are you?

i got some dg nerfs well to be honest with ya they were cheap and they sucked alot the nets are really hard to pit in and the bars bend when you stand on them
