I f u ride a yfz please read this!!!

My friend thinks she knows it all and she told me that the yfz 450 quad has to be ridden at a high rev all the time and doesnt idle very well i think shes full of it and just doesnt want me gettin somethin better than somethin she has! Please help me out and tell me if shes for real or just suck'n wind

no you dont have to rev it all the time!!!
its a great bike and if you buy it you will be very happy ..

full of it, they like to be reved, but you dont have to be on it all the time..

wouldnt tell some one to buy it if they have never rode a quad before..

You can lug the quad .... but this machine screams " Rev Me" . Your friend is partially right .

just forget it's a four stroke and ride it like a two stroke. It helps to turn the idle up a little until you get used to it. we loved the first one so much, I sold my banshee and bought another yfz. and we dune and trail ride as well as race.

in my opinion i fell that the yfz has to be reved higher than any other 4 stroke out there. i also feel that this machine beggs to be reved. so i guess it dosent really have to be reved high all the time, but in order to get the best perfrormance out of the bike it does need to be reved.

The YFZ has the 2 stroker personality, BUT doesnt need to be revved to make HORESPOWER. This motor makes its most power out of the bottom end..more torque thank anything.

So she full of crap.

Its ment to be raced and raced hard but doesnt need to be revved to make the power.

Low end is great as well as mid but top it tops out a little to fast.

Pipe and filter kit remove that problem
Alos properly jetted

Dont listen to other people if their telling u crap
Get a YFZ theri better than anything i ever rode!!!!!

she has probably experienced what most of "stock jetted yfz's" experience when they are lugged they tend to backfire like a ******* and stall very easily
