I have decided to put on a new set of Razr tires on my 400EX with stock rims. The stock fronts are 22-7-10, rears are 20-10-9. My question is could you put the 22-11-9 rear tires on these rims, or do they have to be 20's? Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question, but I don't a lot about tires and rims. I mostly ride woods and open trails. What size tires would you guys recommend for me, because I don't really know. Thanks for any help.;)

Yes you can put 22 inch rear razrs on the stock rims, just make sure you order them for the 9 inch rim :). I have the 20 inch razrs on my EX and like them a lot. I personally like the 20's for the better handling and looks. 22's will give you more ground clearance, so if riding through mud and deep ruts is common you might want the 22's.

Ok Thanks. Would 22's rob too much power from a stock 400? I do ride in a decent amount of mud. What size would be best for the front, in your opinion? Thanks again.

i dont think the 22 will rob to much power tho you will feel a differance
if you thjink it robbed to much you could always drop a tooth on the front sprocket should set it right back to where you want it.

The front razrs I'm using are 22 inches tall. I like them, but am not sure how they compare to the 21 inch versions since I've never tried them.

ok, about tire sizing if a tire is 20-11-9 That means that the tire is 20 in. tall, 11 in. wide, and must be mounted on a 9in. rim. So, if you have a 9in. rear rim (stock) then make sure you get one with a "9" at the end. Did that clear things up?
