250r for $2500

I know a guy who's selling an 87 250r for $2500 and it's in good shape. is it a good deal? It has a lot of hop-ups too.

depends on if the frame is striaght and what has been done to the motor. Do you have any pics? I would be a great step up for you from the 250ex that's for sure. The body style is low and aggressive but with tons of giddy up.

Look through the local papers,Motorcycle trader,etc.. and see what they are going for in your area and compare that way.In my area $2500 is a good price
