edelbrock carb 440 IS IT WORTH IT

Is this carb worth it....... I have 440ex ....cam, porting.k-n filter, jets, the hole nine yards WB PIPES

LOOKING FOR MORE POWER TO CLIMB OLDS AT GLAMIS

i HAVE GOOD MECHANIC

HE SAYS ITS THAT LAST MOD ,I CAN DO.
ANYTHING AFTE THIS MOD
I WOULD BE PLAYING WITH THE STROKE

PLEASE HELP .....................

not worth it...fcr39mm is a better carb...id use it over that carb anyday:macho

The 39mm FCR is a better carb if you ask me as well, but the Edelbrock is still a great carb from what I hear. I just dont know about the whole $600 price tag to get it mounted up. Never used an edelbrock, but I know my FCR made a significant difference in power on my bike.

i also say the 39FCR is a better carb. the edlebrock is still good but i think alot of the negine builders like the FCR better for most cases.

i road both...the power is there with the fcr..cant go wrong with it...edlebrock is a piece...u have to do to much work and the throttle wraps like 1/2 way around for full throttle...it sux

I can not see 600 bucks being woth it, let's face it by the time you bore the quad to need the better card you need to upgrade the suspension etc. by that time your looking at a ton of money and right now you have better options. Sell the quad and move up to a 450 and in the end your much better off, at least that's my take.

My qaud is a 440 ................ very happy with it
Just looking for some extra power ..............
Dont care much about the money .............
I have read a lot of good things about edlebrock
Just dont feel like getting a fcr carb ...............
