hrc kit with curtis sparks pipe help!!!

I have a 450r with a hrc kit a 190 main and a curtis sparks pipe.
1/8 to 1/4 throttle is good 1/4 to 1/2 is good 1/2 to 3/4 is good
3/4 to almost full it starts to miss. but when I take the hrc air box lid off it clears up the missing. do i need to leave the lid off or down size the main and run the lid??????? anyone please help

If you are running the stock filter(does the HRC come with a new filter?) then I would get an Outerwears for the filter and leave the lid off. The problem is you are jetted rich when you put the air box lid on. Also, It would be worth while (It was for me) to put a K&N on. The K&N and Outerwears with no air box lid and a correct rejet (only the main) will result in a noticely crisper throttle responce.

Then if it runs fine with no lid you have it rich by a few sizes. If you dont ride in alot of water, I would just take the lid off and ride it.
