You most likely wont need to mess with jetting with removing the SA. BUT if you cut or remove the airbox lid, go to a 170.

If your bike is a little on the lean side with the SA out....go to a 125. Dont touch the air screw.

We took the SA out of my cousins 450R when he first got it and removed the airbox lid.....I used a 185 main and it ran like a dream. Lift the front end 1st - 3rd gear very easily, the power was there.

Soon there after we put a full Sparks system on and just had to bump up to a 190 main and 2 turns out on the air/fuel.

Just my 2 cents...

A lot of people run 185's because thats what everyone was told to do. But I tested it with both jets one after another, and the 185 is too fat. Spark plug runs proved this. With the 170, you will have better more responsive power.
