Well with Cody's hometown race a week away, we hammered the course today. 50 laps(25 miles) non stop:macho The boy is plum wore out:p I snapped a few pictures but its was dark in the woods but I got a few that look pretty cool.

The suspension is working killer and he is hitting things WFO:devil:

he would hit a log in the trail and ride for 5 or 6 feet on the 1 front wheel...never lifted:macho

My brother showed up to test out his wifes warrior, he jumped in behind Cody on the track. It took Cody 1 lap to pull away and pass him, ineffect lapping his 26 year old uncle:devil:

We broke out the alpha sport 50, ryans eton 50 and the kxf 50 and had one hell of a 50cc flat track (as flat as you can get in west virginia:p )

Ryan was wfo and smoked his older brother in a 20 lap shoot out:macho

Nice.

I bet you would throw at your own kid in a Father-Son game if he was crowding the plate :D

Well how did he do?

Sweet ride and those pics are great.

Pappy
07-24-2004, 07:27 AM
he did great!

he got the holeshot hands down and had a huge lead at the start. 2 teen age girls mis-directed him about a mile in and it cost him several positions:grr: he rode clean, even helping a fellow rider get unstuck and took 4th.

he can now race the 11-12 year old class but he opted to stay in his class for this race. he would have earned 2nd in the other class:macho

Pappy are you not going to put extended a-arms on this one? Or does it already handle good enough? :p

Pappy
08-09-2004, 05:28 PM
actually we put wheel spacers on it to see what the wider stance would do before having to dish out the cash for a arms and an axle. cody say's it handles fine in its current state

the tires are Maxxis and yes we will continue to run them as they work great.

we went with reinforced rims to save weight. i didnt do the rears to keep rotational weight down due to the small HP numbers on these small engines

Pappy, which maxxis tire are you running? what size?
i have been looking for some for my sons 90. He races mx
and the stock tires bounce him like crazy.

Pappy
08-10-2004, 12:50 PM
i will find out what the model of tires are

the size is 18 x 9 x 8

Oh. That's REALLY good! You better watch out Pappy! How long are the races that he runs?

Pappy
08-10-2004, 01:14 PM
they usually run 20-25 minutes races on courses that are around 1 mile long
