Hey, I just did this the other day, and read that you are all stripping the wires from the saftey start only with the clutch in deal. The wires have plugs on the end, and hook into the perch. Pull these plugs out. Find a piece of metal (I used a chunk of old jig saw blade) and stick it in one of the rubber boots. Then you just push them together, and you have a completly reversable solution.

Thanks! I thought it beat the heck out of striping the wires and twisting them together.

Are you talking about when you switch to a different lever. I just blocked off the pb and left the lever alone. It's a quick fix until I buy a lever.

Yeah, There are 2 rubber boots that plug into the switch. Pull them out and connect them with the strip of metal. I just got a cheap perch from moose racing (2 piece) and the rear part broke when I was tighting it down. I had to use the stock honda rear piece. I have a perch for a suzuki (moose racing), a lever for a yamaha (msr racing), and the stock honda rear piece.
