Bore kit...

Hey, after reading some threads on big bore kits,i realized 2 things;im not that educated in them,and that i want one,lol. Well i also heardthat a 416kit beats a 440 kit? The kits im looking at are really the 416,425,and maybe te 440. How much do they run for? Where should i send it for the bore? how much does the bore cost? What comes with the kit? What's the difference price wise in the kits? What kit do u reccomend? thank alotfor you your help!

if ur going for the 440 kit i suggest the ct midrange package. u send ur engin there and they bore and install the jug,piston they put a new cam the port and pollish u get a pipe silencer and i think a carb for only 1300 + shiping

Thanks rico,and that kit is a 416,right? Does that $300 include the bore and shipping? Wut's hat kit include? Should i go i the 416 or suld i go bigger,like a 425? thanks.

The kit Terry has is a 416 10.8:1 compression,,JE piston. The price on the piston includes boring it,,you also need the cam of your choice, viton seals to help reduce heat,,plus you don't wann use the old ones,,and the gaskets.. Give him a call,,I think the 416 kit will work fine for you,,I don't think he has the 425 piston in stock..
