Why is there no grease fittings on a 2002 EX. Is this a sort of bad thing. Is it a good idea to put some in your self or what ??

In my mind, grease fittings are a great luxury. They minimize your maintenance time. As for installing them in yourself, it sounds like a great idea, if you know what you are doing. I personnaly would not know how to strategically locate them.

What points on the atv are you thinking of having them?

BTW, I don't know if Honda has them on any other atv, but they do not have them on the 300ex, and 400ex.

It was just a thought. I was not going to install them i just thought it was weird that there were none!!! U know and did not know if it was a bad thing. do you go through bearings fast with out them or what what are the pros and cons.... for having or not haveing them

Ex's have sealed bearings,,they don't need grease pumped in them all the time,,,but if you ride in muddy and watery conditions it wouldn't be a bad idea to regrease and check them out annually..
