does anybody know if running no discs with the turn down cap would sound any different than no discs with the stock cap.

I would think quieter because the exhaust hole is smaller....but I'm not 100% sure on that

Probably not as deep or throaty of a tone.

by taking out the disks you are messin with the performance of the bike i hope u know that. your going to have less back pressure which is critical . you may have to rejet your bike. as far as the sound , not much differance,its just not as throatty.





e-series,ceramic header,WB rev box,14 tooth gear,K&N filter w/outerwears,no lid,jetted (155 main-42 pilot) no choke,AC nerfs

actually it's the other way around the pipe will sound quite abit more throaty with a turn down, the discs give it a snappier annoying sound, the e-series sounds way better with the turndown, you won't sacrafice much power wise may loose a little torque and gain a little top but it won't be to noticeable in the seat of the pants feel

i dont have the discs out now cause it sounds like chit without them so i was thinkin that with the turndown it may sound different. i like the sound with the discs tho.

my buddy has a cut e-series with no disks and it was re-jeted and it still sounds good and gives him his power
