Clutch question...

I have a 99 416ex and i just put a tusk clutch kit with h/d springs about 3 months ago, and when the engine gets warm, its hard to shift and the lever isnt tight anymore, its really lose... any help???

Other than just a guess,I couldn't tell you.Now if you want my opinion than I will tell you that 2nd gear has been known to go out in the 400ex.My first symptom was dificult shifting,and it also happened to be a '99.As far as the lever being loose(I'm guessing your talking about the shifter)a new clutch has nothing to do with that.I would try tightening the shifter,I used to have to tighten mine every couple of rides.

if your talking about the clutch lever, just tighten that up too.

It is tight before i go riding, but when the engine gets warm the lever is alot looser

are we talking about the clutch lever or the shifter?
