dirt $

hey i live in saugerties, ny..its near woods and stuff and i was wondering if any1 knows how much dirt costs...like a small dump truck full(the little dump trucks that r made of like f450s n such)...i need enough to make one landing for a 4 foot ramp, and 2 3' jumps and landings thanks...o btw im usin logs under the dirt too so i dont need that much

shouldnt cost that much it only cost us 12 bucks for a yard of river rock

how big is a yard...i kno 3 feet...but how many yards does it take to make a landing about 3 feet tall and like 6 feet long...ill have a couple logs underneath too

I use screened loam for my jumps - cost around here for loam is about $18 a yard (+/-) all depending who you go through to get it/how good the quality is/how much you get.

You will need around 20 yards (+/-) of dirt for the landing that you want, less depending on how many logs you have access to.

i have a lawn trailor for our tractor...its about 3x4 and a foot deep wud a yard fill that?

The small dumps usually can handle 2-3 yards and I would say about $50-$60 for a truck load. I used to deliver top soil and fill sand and for sand it was $55 for a 6 yards but times have changed since then:p

ok cool cuz the jump i have now...about 2 1/2 feet tall..took about 3-4 loads of dirt so thats probly like 2 yards? in which case id only need about 5 yards for what im thinkin...o and i dont need good dirt anyway pretty much anything that isnt filled wit rocks i dont care about little stuff but i dont want it to be all rocks

damn that sucks you ahve to pay for dirt....i get it free...my step dad works for a construction company...he gets all the heavy duty construction equiptment and all the dirt/gravel he wants for free anytime he wants it
