Do they mount up on stock 400ex brackets?

get them, slap them on, and see what happens;)

Mybe its just an illusion, but it seems like Yamaha shocks are always shorter than all the others. Look at the raptor or YFZ or any of those and it seems like the top shock mount is way down on the front of the frame, not up high like on the EX and honda's. Maybe its the same shock length but it sure looks different. As for them mounting up, if this is not an issue, then I would assume you would need to swap out the bushings in them to make them fit, but I dont know...

You'll need to grind a little bit off of the top mount on the shock so it will fit, and change the bushings.

if it doesnt work you can always sell the shocks to somebody and buy other shocks. i know the 450r shocks will fir casue they mount up to kfx/z's and the 400ex and z shocks can be used on each bike but then you run into valving problems
