Hello, I've had my 450r a couple of weeks now And I love it..... Currently all I have is the HRC kit installed. Going to be getting the Full Yosh Trs system And air filter very soon. My question is wich air filter is better. Magic racing sells the pro design Pro-Flo Foam Kit for $89.95 and the K&n and outerwear for $63.95. I had K&n on My 440ex and had no problems with it. Is the Pro Design Better? Thanks In advance........

I have the Pro desigm air filter kit and like it so far.
I wont use K&N's anymore they do let a small amount of dust particles thru into the boot and I never have that problem with a good foam filter.

I think a k&n is fine to use if you have your lid on. With out a lid they aren't to bad if you use an outerwear but i still think a foam is better for no lid.

For best filtering, use an oiled 2 layer foam. For best power, use k&N. I reccomend the K&N with Pro Design Pro flo kit and Outerwears. Aproper oiled K&N shouldn't leak dust with an outerwears and no lid.:o

I had a white bros on my raptor. I think it's basically the same as a uni.

I got the sparks kit and I love it. Its cheap, the filter holds up very well, and I run it with out a lid and no outerwear and have had no problems. But I do have to clean it almost every ride. I even use it in the sand like that. The filter does get a lot of sand in it, but they arent hard to clean at all. Takes me 10 min if that.

K&N's will give slightly more power but in dusty conditions they will also let some dust through.

I plan to get a K&N for the dunes because they are perfect for not letting sand through, and then I will use my Sparks at the track.
