reare hitch on 300ex

Has one every welded a reciever on top of the rear swing arm to be able to pull a yard trailer around with? Will it hurt to weld on top of the swing arm?

I know honda makes a hitch for the 300ex, my friend had one on his, I dont think they cost much. I dont know if I would trust welding on the top of the swinger, I guess if you didnt pull much weight it might work.

I used to have one on my 300ex when i first bought it, i sold it on ebay not to long ago. It bolted up to bolt thats nearest to the back of the quad holds the cailper in place and two of the skid plate bolts. I'll try to dig up some pics.

I know this is an old thread and everything, but where can I find this hitch? I need one for my 300 to pull a little plastic trailer around the yard. I could maybe make one myself, but I don't see how this one attaches. Any help? Thanks!

I have one I'll sell ya for $25 shipped. It is scratched from normal use but in great shape. It is exactly lie the one Lil_300Ex_Kid posted.
