I bought a 250X a long time ago off some one who didnt finish the project of rebuilding the motor. So I went and tore the motor cases off the sides and found that the guy didnt know what he was doing. To make a long story short I have been trying to get this POS to run.
The whole motor is in my 250X frame and I can kick it over and it might pop once here and there but that is it. I checked spark and it only sparks a couple times when I kick it over then doesnt spak the rest of the time while the motor is spinning.
I pulled of the stator cover and the whole crank moves side to side about amost 1/16 of an inch. Is that normal? and would that affect spark?
I am about ready to give up on this and put it on Ebay or sell it.
So If anyone has any ideas as to whats wrong let mew know, ill try just about anything to get it runnin.
