I'm looking for a pair of tires for my quad. I was woundering if nebody out there could tell me what the best kind of tires i should get. I do mostly trail riding but i would also like a set of tires that gives me good handling for speed.

I disagree with all of them and say get Maxxis Razr's or Razr 2's....

For our conditions here (quiet a bit of sand) I did not like the razrs

Yeah, but hes in western PA, so Im assuming he rides in soft ground conditions and slop most of the year like the rest of us ohioans out here. Nothing against holeshots, I just personally dont think any of their tires perform as well as the razr's, even the MX ones, so Im just partial to Maxxis. If he got some Holeshots from you, Im sure they would be fine for him for all around riding...

I found the Razr's to be to hard and did not get good traction but that was a few years back and I know they have changed.

ITP XCR's were OK if the ground was not tacky balled up in pretty bad and lost traction, also I found the rear wanted to step out under braking and that IMO was bad in the woods.

The last set of tires I ran were the Kenda Klaw XC, and they were the best of the bunch, with the reversible pattern they work in just about all terrain offer great side bite and good flat resistance. All in all I think they are the best tire made right now.
