I have an 87 250x that I picked up a month or so ago, I have had 2 issues, I could use some insight on.
First, It really wants to stall out in water crossings, nothing over the tires either. I really have to work the throttle to keep it going. I took it home and sprayed everything electrical with water and could not get it to even cough. I am sure it is not taking on water, I am going slow, and it should not be that deep. It will start up again within 5-10 kicks and usually sputter abit untill it dries out.
2nd issue just started, it seems that for no apparent reason it will just stall, I will be running in 5th, coming up to a stop, I will gear down to stop and it will just die. I found if I work the throttle a bit it will stay running, and it does not do it all the time. Any ideas. Bike will start again with 1-5 kicks
Bike has a new CDI and good premium fuel, fresh plug.
