I have the same setup as you and have a 195/52 right now. I took to to the dunes in Oregon last weekend and it ran pretty good. But I have heard that it will run with almost anything. What notch is ur clip on the needle. LRD said I might have to move to the 4th or 5th. I am still on the 3rd, but will be trying it out. Oh yeah, What elevation are you at? I am right at sea lavel.

If I remember right I am out 2.5 turns.

LRD told you to run a 180. They told me 190/195? Do you have the HRC kit/cam? Maybe that is why they told me to go so big. I am going to drop the clip this week and drop down to a 190 main for DUNEFEST in Oregon at the end of the month.

How's yours running with what they told you? Mine seemd to be running pretty good. But I keep reading that this thing will run with almost any jetting, just not to its full potential. Let me know how it's runnin. Thanks

Ask your friend what notch the clip in on for the needle and how many turns he's out on the fuel/mix screw...Thanks

How much did you pay for the full system? (if you dont mind me asking), where can one find it? im somewhat interested in getting an aftermarket pipe myself and the LRD system seems to be one of the more favored.

Thanks :)

No Problem...I got mine for Father's day. My wife said she got it off Ebay and only paid $380 and that's shipping included. We just got really lucky with it. I haven't seen them that low since but you might get lucky too. Good Luck. You'll love it when you get it

Thanks...I wil have to try it out. Just got to get one of those dam stipped out screws out. Do they make a hex/allen head style screw that we can use instead of that soft *** brass?

I take it that you are talking about the screws that hold the plate on top of the carb or the ones that hold the bowl on...right? Either way the same thing happened to me and surprisingly enough I found exactly what you are looking for at Home Depot even with allen heads. You might try an Ace Hardware also. Good luck, hope you get it fixed.

I put a new jet in today, I had a 180 put in a 185 and ran it around the street I live on, it runs better on top end now, anyone who has the lrd jet kit, is the biggest jet they give you a 185? thats the biggest I have for mine, I'am going to order bigger size jets and try them out to see if they make a change.
