Mine made a big differnce over my megamax2 slipon i had but i always melt my boots on the headpipe. I think you can put the stock heatshield on the new aliens though.

I love my pipe, been a great performance mod gave me great low end mid range and top end, i picked up 3 mph over stock by addind the pipe with the K&N and jetting, it is loud but man i think it give me just the grunt i need. Its easy to repack and maintain too, only other pipe i would run would be the Sparks or Hetricks, Hope u like the DMC it is loud but hey when your in front it dont matter.

Well im not sure as to how much HP i gained from it but i know it was enough to move my power from 2nd to 3rd because 2nd wheelied way to easy it gave me power all over then i mean just opend the bike up alot, quicker throttle response was the main thing to i cant say enough about it. Im referring to the changes it made before my motor work too on a relitive stock bike.
