Does any parts off a 450R work on a 400ex?

Does the a-arms,swingarm,stem off a 450R work on a 400ex,has anyone tried it yet?

You can take a 400ex rear shock linkage and put it on the 450r and it will make ur rear end sit lower..seems to have the same amont of travel 2....anyone tryed or heard about this?

I know a kid who installed his 400ex swingarm and shock on his 450r.All he did was cut a 1/8" off of the side where the carrier goes thru,and used all his stock 450r axle components.
