TRADE: C-dale for 400ex *PICS*

Well ive been considering doing this, its nothing for sure unless teh right 400 comes along, well ... this winter i think im gonna build a 400ex framed CRF powered quad... so right now im just looking for a 400ex..then this winter im gonna do a motor swap..

anyways its a 2003 Limited Edition Dale... here are some pics

Like i said...im jsut looking to see if theres a nice 400ex i can start with to build this project... i would really prefer one that already has a wider front end.. but like i said im jsut lookin around so let me know what ya got!! :cool:

Here's my 2000 400EX. These pics are from last August, pretty much the only changed thing is that all the stickers have been removed.

It also comes with Ugly +2+1 a-arms w/ Works Triple Rates w/ Rezzies, I don't have them on because I was going to send them into get revalved, but I figured since I want to sell them, I'd have the person who buys it send them in theirselves to get it set up for THEIR weight, not MINE.

Right now the carb is running a bit rich because the brass screw on the top of the carb stripped out, so I need to drill that out and put a new screw in. So right now it's running rich on the needle so idleing and 1/4 throttle it doesn't want to run right.

I have some swingarm bearings for it also because I figured since the quad is 4 years old, they should be changed soon (even though there are no problems with it, I figured I might as well before it causes damage).

Uh...any other questions? Just ask and I'll answer. Oh and I always change the oil and filter after a long ride.

I'm located in Western Wisconsin, but driving is always fun.

When I got my 400EX, I drove down to Lafayette, Indiana. ;)

I too, actually, was going to do a 450 conversion this summer but I figured it'd cost me too much in the long-run and it'd be better just to get rid of the 400 and get a conversion already done or just a 450 of some sort. I've always wanted a Cannondale too, when they first came out my dad almost bought me one but the guy at the dealership opened his mouth and told him that they were the fastest on the market...but that was two years ago, I was a little inexperienced on "high-performance" quads, so instead I got a Banshee:p .

Haha, yea that's a little messed up. Oh well, I had plenty of fun on the Banshee and I still do, I always get a smile on my face when I hit the powerband.:D

i have a yellow 02 i would be willing to trade. im in central CA and its never been raced. well taken care of. mostly trails and dune runs to pismo and sand montian. sometimes dumont

I got a 99 400ex with mild extras. Big Gun pipe, CDI box, extra wheels and tires, and DuraBlue sway bar. Minor scratches. Im in Indiana.
