The stock motor from the 450 dirtbike will out perform the honda and yamaha quads. But just buying the quad mybe less of a headache. Stock crf motor will blow away the trx motor.

The CRF powered quads tend to have more power. I also agree with many others, that the 250R/ 400EX handle the best out of any quad, and have the best rider geometry. Go with the CRF conversion!

becase if i sell my 300ex im nto gonna have enough money to go buy a brand new yfz or 450r so i would go buy a used 400ex and do the conversion or a big bore kit down the road. i dont want to have a payment on a brand new quad im young and dont need that kinda stuff.

in your case, just buy the actual quad, those conversions are more money and are a huge headache. summer just started, dont cramp ur riding by building the quad now. do it in the winter.
