I emailed ASR racing about there A Arms for the YFZ and asked about there long travel stuff. Here is what they said. This is a copy and paste from there email

Hi! These are long travel. They get more travel than our competitors arms using the longer 19 inch shocks, ASR sees no reason to have their customers buy 1000.00 sets of shocks to get worse results. The shock is ALWAYS the limiting factor on travel. You can call ASR at 435-577-2266 if you would like someone to explain it further. Have a great day! Casidy

Somebody should explain to them that long travel doesnt give you more shock travel just more valving. So I e mailed them back and said I already have a 19 shock I was just wanting A Arms. Here is there reply.

Hi! Sorry, no we do not. 19 inch shocks reduce the travel on the YFZ so ASR wont build them, Have a great day! KATIE

It kinda makes them look stupid!!!!!!!!!!

Baldwin does. He is one of their biggest distributors so hit them up at:

440-224-2734

Hetrick is another major distributor of their parts, which are TOP quality I must say. JB is on the same level as Laeger if you ask me...

Wait a second.

Are you saying Katie and Casidy don't know what they're talking about?

They sound very knowledgeable. In fact, you should have asked for one of their phone numbers, so you could call them and ask more questions. While you were on the subject of measurements anyways ya know.

Here is my problem with what they said. With a long travel set up you dont gain hardly any travel, you gain shock tunability. Any builder should know that. So to say that you get more travel with there setup is BS. ANd the second e mail they said that the shock is always the limiting factor in wheel travel. SO if you have the same shocks you still will not gain any travel.

Long travel doesnt give you more shock travel. The longer shock gives the shock builder more room to work with when valving the shock.
